What we believe
The church exists to:
- increase awareness of God's presence and to celebrate God's love
- to help people grow and learn as Christians, through mutual
support and care
- to be a good neighbour to people in need and to challenge
injustice
- to make more followers of Jesus Christ
Worship and Preaching
Our acting minister is the Rev. Patricia Billsborrow who is also
acting Circuit
Superintendent. In addition there is a gifted team of ministers and a
deacon, retired
ministers, local preachers and worship leaders. You will find much food
for thought and spiritual growth in our largely quiet and traditional
services. You are also sure of a warm welcome from a friendly
congregation. Children are always welcome and there is a Children's
Corner with activities for younger ones.
Life Events
Baptisms, weddings and funerals can be arranged by E-mailing
or
telephoning the minister
Access
You will find access easy if you have mobility problems or use a
wheelchair - and there are toilet facilities for the disabled. The
church also has an audio loop as well as a public address system.
Please ask for a large-print hymn book and service book if you would find
them helpful.
